Project Description...
The goal of this project is to introduce youth to the world of veterinary medicine as well as pass on knowledge about pet health and wellness.
Members will be treated to a tour of the Summerside Animal Hospital and their vet diagnostics equipment. They will learn some basics about pet nutrition and about common pet health issues and treatments. They will also learn about what a basic pet first aid kit contains and how to perform a pet physical exam.
The 3 project completion requirements for this project are:

- Attend the 3 hour session.
- Complete the Achievement Day Requirement for this project which is a Information Poster about a common pet health issue (i.e. disease, parasite, injury, etc.). This is to be done as homework by the member and displayed at their Achievement Day.
- Complete the Project Record Page provided below. The Project Record Page needs to be on display at your club's Achievement Day (in your Member Portfolio Binder).
